Early on, I had to have everything exactly right before I could sit down and write.
My mood had to be right. The lighting, sound, no distractions. I had a whole list of things that had to be perfect before I could put pen to paper or fingertips to keyboard.
I've learned a lot since then. Now, I write. That's what I do, because that is my chosen occupation. So, regardless of the environmental factors...I write.
Professional writers treat writing like a craft.
Consistency beats inspiration.
